About
Your trusted source for hair restoration insights!
Why I Started This Blog
I created HairImplants.net so you don’t have to go through this journey in the dark. My goal is to provide clear, balanced, and honest information about hair loss and the medical procedures available—so you can speak to your doctor with confidence and avoid false promises.
After tracking my symptoms and digging deeper, I discovered something no one seemed to consider: my hair loss was a side effect of a medication I was taking—even though I kept hearing, “That can’t be it.” As I gradually reduced that medication under medical guidance, the shedding stopped. Over time, my hair density slowly returned.
A few years ago, I began losing hair abruptly and in large amounts. My doctor prescribed vitamins, but the shedding continued. I visited multiple “specialists” and clinics I believed were experts. I was given medications, cosmetic treatments, even scalp injections—yet nothing truly helped.
What You’ll Find Here
- Straightforward guides to FUE, FUT, PRP, low-level laser therapy, and common medications (e.g., minoxidil, finasteride).
- Fair comparisons of cost, recovery, scarring, candidacy, and risks.
- Consultation checklists you can take to your doctor or clinic.
- A plain-English glossary of medical terms.
- Articles that include reputable references (medical societies, peer-reviewed studies, official guidelines).
- I do not sell treatments or book procedures.
My Promise to You
- Empathy first: I know the anxiety of checking hairbrushes and shower drains.
- Transparency: I’ll explain what’s known, what’s uncertain, and where risks live.
- Clarity over hype: No jargon you don’t need, no miracle claims.
- Ongoing updates: Content is reviewed and refreshed as new evidence emerges.

How I Research
I rely on recognized medical sources and clinical literature. When a benefit is mentioned, I also look for limitations, adverse effects, and alternatives. If a source has potential conflicts of interest, I’ll flag it in the article.
Who This Blog Is For
My Story, In Short
I’m a regular person who faced frustrating hair loss, received conflicting opinions, and learned to advocate for myself. Keeping a log of symptoms, medications, and changes, getting second opinions, and asking respectful questions changed everything. With shedding under control and density improving, I turned fear into a mission: make hair-loss information accessible, honest, and helpful.
